Just got back from a fun, productive "Eagles and Songbirds" tour to Homer, AK with Alan Murphy. What an amazing experience!!!

I was happy to watch this magnificent adult bald eagle land about 8-10 feet from where I was. I was able to get a nice close up using canon 100-400 II lens @ 100mm.

Canon 1DX | 100-400 L II @ 100mm
Processed using LR and PS.

Beautiful close up of this majestic bird, details are superb. I can feel the sheer power of the eagle.

Nice job getting the raised claws and beak. I see a stronger comp by bringing in the upper right corner. Fun times we had.
