Paid members receive various member benefits for an annual fee of $40 or a lifetime fee of $300. Once receipt of payment has been confirmed, NatureScapes.Net will try to activate your account as quickly as possible. This can take about twenty-four hours from the time of payment confirmation.

To post a photo in the NatureScapes.Net image critique forums, the photo must first be hosted on the internet. This can occur on your own website or on a personal online gallery that allows image linking from other sites. For those unable to host their images in another manner, one of the benefits of paid membership at NatureScapes.Net is the image upload service, where members can upload their images to be hosted on the NatureScapes.Net server. Information on using the image upload service can be found at the Image Upload link towards the upper right corner on the forum pages.
Showcase your nature images on the internet alongside portfolios of other nature photographers! Build one instead of creating your own website, or use it in addition to your existing website for increased exposure. Paid members with an annual membership receive a one hundred-image portfolio (more space may be purchased - read about it here!); lifetime members receive a two hundred-image portfolio. Portfolios have room for photos, a short biography, and contact information (including a secure contact form). - Fully integrated with the NatureScapes.Net forums for easy navigation and accessibility; portfolios can be accessed from the PORTFOLIOS link towards the upper left corner of the forums. Only one registration required for access to forums and portfolios. Images can be added to member portfolios during NatureScapes.Net image upload to the forums. A link to your portfolio will be provided automatically at the bottom of your forum posts once your portfolio is created.
- Member portfolios are easy to use, no web design experience necessary! Check out the FAQ link toward the upper right corner of portfolios to get started, the software prompts for the necessary information in easy steps. It is simple to add or delete images. Photos can be batch uploaded ten at a time.
- Each portfolio is assigned a unique URL based on your own name, making it easier to remember and access.
- Customize your portfolio by selecting the thumbnail to represent your portfolio at various pages. Use subcategories to group your images in any manner you wish; subcategory thumbnails will be the last uploaded photo in that subcategory unless specific photos are selected.
- Market your work to visiting photo buyers by entering relevant titles, keywords and a detailed description for your photos. A secure contact form is used for all portfolios, allowing viewers to contact you without revealing your email address. The message text is forwarded to your forum email address of record. This allows photographers the option to keep their email address unlisted to avoid the growing problem of spam. About Lens and Land
Lens and Land is a group of landowners in South Texas working together to create photographic opportunities on their private lands for nature photographers. This includes regular feeding and a water supply at various locations on the ranches, plus blind setups custom designed with photographers in mind. A wonderful variety of mammals, reptiles, and birds can be photographed with minimal setup from the comfort and safety of your blind on a private, gated property.
